Golden SX Plus

System Description

Golden SX was released in 1995. It has now been out for 14 years and has never had a losing year. It trades 24 different commodities and uses the same rules for all 24 commodities.  The new improved version,  Golden SX Plus, was released in July, 2006. You actually receive 2 systems when you purchase Golden SX Plus. The "Standard" version uses the same rules for all 24 commodities but two parameters have been minimally optimized. The secret is to not over-optimize. You don't want a curve fit system.

However, for those who are very cautious, there is a second version with no optimization. That's correct! The second version uses exactly the same rules and exactly the same parameter values for all 20 commodities! We call this un-optimized version the "Constant" version. For more information on optimization and robustness read the 6 STEP PROCESS we use to minimize over-optimization (click Here to go to page describing 6 Step Process).

In July 2006 we officially released the first ever upgrade to Golden SX.  I think it is a very important improvement to a system that has already stood the test of time, a true top rated system made even better. The upgraded system is called Golden SX Plus.

Futures Truth, Co. , the "Consumers Report" of Trading Systems tracks both versions of Golden SX. In 1998 Golden SX broke a record at Futures Truth. BOTH VERSIONS PERFORMED SO WELL THAT THEY BOTH MADE THEIR MOST IMPORTANT LIST...THE TOP 10 SYSTEMS SINCE RELEASE. SO NOW WHEN YOU BUY GOLDEN SX YOU GET TWO OF THE TOP 10 SYSTEMS IN THE NATION FOR THE PRICE OF ONE SYSTEM.

Over the last 10 year there have been 3 TOP 10 System articles in Futures Magazine. Golden SX has been on the Top 10 Systems list ALL 3 TIMES. Now how's that for endurance?

As trading system concepts become extremely well known, the Efficient Market Theory removes their advantage. This is a simple law of Economics. That is why the moving average system quit working. It's why MACD, RSI, Stochastic, %R, and price pattern systems fail. No amount of wishful thinking will change these facts. To improve your chance for success, you need NEW trading concepts that are not yet well known.

Golden SX Plus is based on a NEW remarkable Indicator that has not been published in any of the commodity trading books. This proprietary GSX Indicator is only available to Golden SX System owners. The GSX Indicator is very powerful. Note the following graph that shows how much more responsive it is than old indicators like RSI. This is one of the reasons Golden SX has performed so well in real life since its release back in 1995.

GSX Indicator Example

In addition to this new GSX Indicator, the Golden SX system waits for a slight retracement before actually taking its trades. Entering a trade after retracement improved the probability of trade success. It also has two exit stops. When it enters a trade iInitially there is an adaptive protective Money Management Stop Loss. As the trade progresses , a new Profit Based Exit Stop kicks in. This exit signal tightens up the stop to protect open trade profits.

Real Time Performance

Most trading systems fall apart soon after release. That is a typical pattern for poor or over-optimized systems. Golden SX has done just the opposite. Golden SX has generated profits every year since its 1995 release.

As we mentioned above, Futures Truth tracks both the Standard and Constant versions of Golden SX in real time. In the Aug/Sep, 1998 issue of their Master Performance Table Report, Golden SX set a new record for any trading system...ever! It was the first system to occupy 2 spots in their most important rating, the "Top 10 Systems Since Release" list. In June, 2001 a Futures Magazine article rated Golden SX one of the "Top 10 Systems of the new millennium." And, as I said, it has been on all 3 Top 10 System articles in Futures magazine.
